I’ve been joining exhibits with Reredos, a group of artists that were brought together by their faith and Catholicity. Since being with them, I have offered my art to a more prayerful, divine purpose.
In 2013, I started as a special effects artist for the Philippine movie industry. My studio, Octopod, Inc., created make-up and prosthetics for mainstream and independent media. It was a lot of fun. 5 years later, my world shifted when I decided to settle down with my husband and start a family of my own. Since then, my art expresses more of what’s in my heart, not necessarily to entertain but to pray.
